Silk sarees such as this pink handloom can seamlessly enhance your style quotient when worn on any special occasion. The expert craftsmen of Banaras have meticulously handcrafted this Banarasi saree using the complex Tanchoi weaving technique. To make an artistic satin Banarasi saree like this, these artisans make use of one or two warps and two to five weft colours.
What makes this handloom one of the finest satin silk sarees is the exquisite display of paisley motifs. The allure of the dull pink satin saree is accentuated with intricately crafted paisley motifs in orange, green, and light pink threadwork, along with hints of gold zari. The pallu is adorned with enlarged paisley bootas and vertical designs on its border. The pure silk saree comes with a dull pink blouse piece featuring a border identical to that of the saree.

The Weaving Technique
Tanchois are a very fine weave banarasi sarees that use an extra weft thread to create delicate patterns. Tanchoi weaving is one of the complex and technical weaving techniques as it uses one or two warp and two to five weft colors. These sarees are extremely light weight and soft to drape. Jamawar & Tanchois are both satin weave techniques where the motifs are created using the primary weft yarn itself creating an inlaid or embossed look, unlike a brocade, which uses extra warp or weft to create the patterns.
Technically we use the word Jamawar or Jamewar when the motifs feature more than one color, while Tanchois usually have one single color motif or pattern. Jamawars also seem to have a lot of persian influence and are majorly dominated with paisleys in the design pattern
