The Banarasi saree is meticulously crafted by hand by the expert craftsmen of Banaras using the age-old Kimkhab weaving technique. The orange pure silk saree adorns a pattern consisting of hundreds of eight-petalled flowers with four leaves scattered throughout its expanse. These floral patterns are crafted using delicate gold zari threads. The blue Meenakari adorned amidst these lustrous patterns adds elegance to the drape. The pallu of the silk saree adorns parallel lines crafted in gold zari. The border of the Banarasi silk saree has a similar look, but with diagonal lines adorned throughout.
