This pink Banarasi silk saree is a shiny, easy-to-drape satin silk saree fit for your contemporary wardrobes. The skilled Banaras artisans diligently create each silken thread of this handloom by hand. These master craftsmen used the age-old Tanchoi weaving technique to make this Banarasi satin silk saree. The pink satin silk saree is perfectly decorated with floral designs crafted in various shades of pink enhancing its beauty. The medium-sized flowers dispersed across the pink Banarasi silk saree are embellished with hints of pink with delicate thread work. The border is meticulously crafted with gold zari thread work embellished with zig-zag geometric patterns. The slinky drape comes with a pink blouse piece adorned with a border the same as the saree.

The Weaving Technique
Tanchois are a very fine weave banarasi sarees that use an extra weft thread to create delicate patterns. Tanchoi weaving is one of the complex and technical weaving techniques as it uses one or two warp and two to five weft colors. These sarees are extremely light weight and soft to drape. Jamawar & Tanchois are both satin weave techniques where the motifs are created using the primary weft yarn itself creating an inlaid or embossed look, unlike a brocade, which uses extra warp or weft to create the patterns.
Technically we use the word Jamawar or Jamewar when the motifs feature more than one color, while Tanchois usually have one single color motif or pattern. Jamawars also seem to have a lot of persian influence and are majorly dominated with paisleys in the design pattern
