This Beige handloom saree is woven in pure tussar silk and features a striking Jamdani border and pallu that define the design. The natural texture of tussar silk lends the saree a structured drape and gentle sheen, while the detailed woven patterns create a strong visual frame.

Jamdani is a traditional supplementary weft weaving technique where motifs are inserted individually by hand during the weaving process. Each motif is created directly on the loom, allowing the design to become an integral part of the fabric rather than a surface embellishment.

The border and pallu carry intricate geometric Jamdani motifs woven in black, forming a bold and rhythmic pattern along the edges of the saree. Small booti motifs are placed across the body to balance the composition. The pallu is finished with hand-knotted tassels.

Each WeaverStory Jamdani saree is handwoven using traditional loom techniques practiced in the weaving clusters of Undivided Bengal.
