This Henna Green handloom saree is woven in pure linen and features Jamdani motifs placed along the borders and pallu. The linen base gives the saree a crisp texture and a breathable drape, while the woven floral vines and butis define the saree's frame.

Jamdani is a traditional supplementary-weft weaving technique in which motifs are inserted individually by hand during the weaving process. Each motif is created directly on the loom, allowing the pattern to appear clearly on the surface of the fabric while remaining visible on both sides.

The saree is finished with a border detailed with fine horizontal silver-toned stripes. The pallu carries Jamdani motifs and is completed with hand-knotted tassels. Suitable for daytime gatherings, festive occasions, and formal settings, it can be styled with both classic and contemporary blouses.

Each WeaverStory Jamdani saree is handwoven using traditional loom techniques practiced in the weaving clusters of Undivided Bengal.
