This off-White handloom saree is woven from pure matka silk and features a contrasting pallu crafted from sheer kora muslin. The matka silk body features a naturally textured surface with a soft, structured drape, highlighted by small, scattered Jamdani floral butis across the off-white base.

Created using the traditional handloom Jamdani technique, each motif is inserted individually during weaving with a supplementary weft. This technique allows the motifs to become an intrinsic part of the textile rather than a surface embellishment.

The saree transitions into a translucent kora muslin Jamdani pallu, which forms the most intricate visual element of the design. The pallu features two mirrored floral compositions, where branching stems rise upward and unfold into stylised blossoms. The floral clusters are woven in soft pink, rose, muted teal and fresh green tones, creating gentle colour contrast against the sheer off-white muslin ground. Fine dotted vertical stems extend above the blooms, adding height and rhythm to the motif layout.

A series of fine horizontal stripes frames the lower edge of the pallu, which is finished with hand-knotted tassels, highlighting the handmade finesse.

Each WeaverStory Jamdani saree is handwoven using traditional loom techniques practiced in the weaving clusters of Undivided Bengal.
