This Off White handloom kora muslin Jamdani saree is woven in fine, sheer muslin known for its airy texture and fluid drape. The lightweight weave allows the saree to fall softly while maintaining the delicate character associated with traditional Dhakai Jamdani sarees.

Created using the handloom Jamdani technique, each motif is inserted individually during the weaving process using a supplementary weft. This intricate method allows motifs to emerge directly from the fabric structure, making the design an integral part of the textile rather than a surface embellishment.

The off-white body of the saree features scattered floral Jamdani butis in soft tones of pink, yellow and muted colours, adding gentle contrast to the translucent muslin base.

The highlight of this handloom Dhakai Jamdani saree is the intricately woven narrative pallu. The design depicts a river landscape inspired by village life, where a fisherman rows a traditional boat across calm waters. Surrounding the scene are palm trees, flowering branches, water plants, and a small riverside hut, forming a pastoral composition that unfolds across the pallu. The river is articulated with delicate woven lines and small aquatic motifs, while the trees and foliage appear in layered tones of leaf green, earthy brown, soft blue, pink, and yellow, creating depth and movement within the woven artwork.

The pallu is framed with fine horizontal stripe detailing and finished with hand-knotted tassels, highlighting the finesse of the handmade finishing.
