Brown Handloom Pure Tusser Silk Hand Painted Kalamkari Dupatta With Mythological Figures

The Brown Handloom Pure Tussar Silk Hand-Painted Kalamkari Dupatta is crafted on a textured Tussar base known for its natural sheen and firm drape. The surface is detailed with hand-painted mythological figures, created using the Kalamkari process in which each form is outlined, shaded, and coloured manually. This slow, layered method allows the artist to build expression and storytelling directly on the fabric.

Mythological themes are central to traditional Kalamkari, often depicting characters, scenes, or symbols drawn from epics. Their presence on the dupatta gives the piece a narrative quality, making it more than an accessory, almost a small canvas of hand-rendered art.

The brown Tussar backdrop anchors the artwork and highlights the fine brushwork. Finished neatly at the edges, the dupatta pairs well with solid silk suits and is suited for cultural events, intimate gatherings, or occasions where handcrafted textile art is appreciated.
