Red Handloom Double Ikat Patola Duptta With Big Eleplant Motifs

Make a statement with this Red Handloom Double Ikat Patola Dupatta, where majestic elephant motifs take center stage, creating an instant focal point that exudes heritage and grandeur. Each design is perfectly aligned through the meticulous double ikat technique, with both warp and weft threads tie-dyed before they meet on the loom- a process that showcases Patan artisans’ extraordinary precision and skill. Handwoven on soft mulberry silk, the dupatta flows gracefully with a natural sheen, making it perfect to pair with a solid kurta or saree for weddings, festive occasions, or cultural gatherings. Let the elephants command attention as you drape it, creating a look that is both regal and unforgettable.

The Weaving Technique

Patola is a double ikat woven sari, usually made from silk, in Patan weaving cluster in Gujarat. It can take anything from six months to one year to make one sari due to the long process of dying each strand separately before weaving them together. The Patan Patolas are both warp and weft dyed and often called double ikat sarees
