Pink Handloom Pure Katan Silk Banarasi Kimkhab Dupatta with Wine Meena Floral Jaal

The beauty of this dupatta lies in how its intricate floral pattern fills the fabric without overwhelming the colour beneath. Set against a lively pink base, delicate gold zari blossoms and winding branches form a continuous jaal, with tiny wine Meena accents bringing definition to the flowers. This Pink Handloom Pure Katan Silk Kimkhab Dupatta brings a refreshing vibrancy to the richness of traditional Banarasi weaving.

Handwoven in the Banaras weaving cluster, the dupatta is crafted from pure Katan silk using the traditional Kimkhab technique, known for its elaborate metallic weaving and richly ornamented surfaces. The floral jaal features slender stems, finely detailed leaves and clusters of blossoms, arranged in a repeating composition that gives the fabric an almost embroidered appearance. The wine-coloured Meenakari details lend depth to the gold zari work, making the floral motifs particularly striking against the pink silk.

A broad border with a closely woven herringbone pattern provides a beautiful contrast to the flowing florals. Narrow ornamental bands featuring tiny floral motifs frame the design, while the knotted fringe and alternating pink and gold tassels add a thoughtful finishing touch.

With its intricate craftsmanship and expressive colour palette, this Banarasi Kimkhab dupatta makes a wonderful addition to festive wardrobes and wedding ensembles, offering a lovely balance of traditional artistry and contemporary appeal.

Styling Tip: Pair this pink Kimkhab dupatta with a deep wine-coloured silk kurta set to bring out the subtle Meenakari accents in the floral weave. Complement the ensemble with antique gold chandbalis, a delicate gold kada and embroidered juttis. Drape the dupatta over one shoulder to showcase its all-over floral jaal, geometric border and contrasting tassels.
