Rust Handloom Double Ikat Patola Saree

This Rust Handloom Double Ikat Patola Saree is a celebration of heritage and craftsmanship, where every motif is perfectly mirrored through the painstaking double ikat technique, showcasing the masterful skill of Patan artisans. Here, both warp and weft threads are tie-dyed before they ever meet on the loom—a process that demands unmatched precision and artistry. Handwoven on soft mulberry silk, the saree glows with a natural sheen and drapes elegantly, making it perfect for weddings, festive occasions, and grand celebrations. Style it with antique gold or kundan jewellery and a subtly contrasting blouse to let the intricate patterns take center stage, creating an ensemble that is regal, timeless, and unmistakably luxurious.

The Weaving Technique

Patola is a double ikat woven sari, usually made from silk, in Patan weaving cluster in Gujarat. It can take anything from six months to one year to make one sari due to the long process of dying each strand separately before weaving them together. The Patan Patolas are both warp and weft dyed and often called double ikat sarees
