Sky Blue Pure Silk Pure Zari Kanjivaram Saree With Ganderberunda Motif And Pink Korwai Border
A symbol of strength woven in silk, this sky blue pure Kanjivaram saree celebrates the grandeur of South India’s weaving traditions. The saree features the Ganderberunda motif, a mythical two-headed bird that represents power, protection, and resilience- an ancient emblem once found on royal insignias and temple carvings across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Its presence on the drape lends a regal and auspicious charm.
The luminous pure zari work shimmers beautifully against the serene blue silk, while the pink Korvai border adds a striking contrast. The Korvai technique, where the body and border are woven separately and then interlocked by hand, is a hallmark of Kanjivaram craftsmanship- known for its strength and flawless finish.
Paired with a matching blouse piece, this saree makes a stunning choice for weddings, festive ceremonies, or cultural celebrations. Elegant yet powerful, it’s a weave that embodies both artistry and legacy.
