Afsana | Orchid Purple Handwoven Chanderi Suit with Zardozi Dupatta

Part of WeaverStory’s Mehrunisa collection, Afsana pairs orchid purple Chanderi with finely constructed pleats and measured hand embroidery. The colour gives the ensemble a festive presence, while its fluid cut makes it suited to engagement celebrations, daytime wedding functions and intimate gatherings.

The kurta has a broad rounded neckline with delicate detailing along its edge. Close vertical pleats shape the front bodice before opening into a gently flared fall. Zardozi hand embroidery finishes the three-quarter sleeve cuffs, and matching straight pants continue the orchid purple palette.

The sheer Chanderi dupatta carries spaced round embroidered bootas with fine metallic accents. Broad gold tissue borders frame its ends, while knotted orchid purple and gold tassels complete the drape. Worn over one shoulder, it leaves the pleated front of the kurta in view.

Styling Note: Pair Afsana with kundan or polki jewellery and metallic juttis. A neat bun draws attention to the neckline and the round motifs on the dupatta.
