Baby Pink Pure Katan Mashru Silk Digital Print Banarasi Saree With Gold Zari Border
Not every Banarasi saree needs an expanse of zari to make its presence felt. This Baby Pink Handloom Pure Katan Mashru Silk Digital Print Saree With Gold Zari Border takes a lighter approach, bringing printed florals and traditional Banarasi weaving together in a composition that feels fresh yet rooted in craft.
Across the soft pink ground, bouquets of roses and smaller floral sprigs appear at measured intervals, with muted blue, ivory and deeper pink tones lending the print a delicate contrast. The restraint of the body allows the woven gold zari border to stand apart, its intricate pattern forming a defined frame around the florals.
Handwoven in the Banaras weaving cluster, the saree uses the Kadhwa technique for its zari details, with individual motifs worked separately on the loom. Katan Mashru silk lends the drape a smooth surface, gentle lustre and enough structure to hold its pleats beautifully.
The pallu brings the two design languages together, carrying the florals forward before opening into a row of larger zari motifs. It is a thoughtful meeting of print and weave, suited to festive lunches, wedding celebrations and an heirloom wardrobe that makes room for both tradition and change.
Styling Tip: Pair it with a sage or powder-blue blouse to pick up the florals, finished with pearl or kundan jewellery.
