Dark Red Handloom Pure Georgette Banarasi Bandhej Dupatta With All Over CutworK Jaal
The stunningly charismatic handloom dupatta by Weaver Story is an absolute delight for the hearts of the ethnic buffs that have been waiting for something so divine yet seductive. Curated on the banks of river Ganges, in the holistic city of Banaras, this elegant fabric of pure and crispy Georgette is a walk down the Mughlai memory lane of grand architecture and sacrilegious customs of our triumphant history. The gorgeous colour tones of dark red shine under the dense and impenetrable golden interlacing of the zari jaal, while the crimson hues of the surface also add to the femme fatale aesthetic of the traditional accessory.
Defining the whole story of feminine transformation, the patiently skillful technique of cutwork involves cutting and hand weaving each floral and leafy motif one by one, with extreme caution and artistic enthusiasm. While the meticulous forest-like web of gold zari takes the whole dupatta in a warm embrace of ingenuity, the vintage technique of Bandhej tie and dye textile beautifies the rituals of our ancestors.
