Gulabi Saba Gold Plated Pure Silver Floral Meenakari Brooch
Soft pink petals, a sweeping stem and delicate touches of green lend the Gulabi Saba Brooch the appearance of a flower caught in a gentle breeze. Its asymmetrical composition moves away from conventional floral jewellery, giving a familiar motif a more expressive form.
Handcrafted in Jaipur from gold-plated pure silver, the brooch features a five-petalled blossom with finely textured surfaces and subtle pink enamel detailing. A white, uncut-style stone sits at the centre, surrounded by smaller stone accents. From the flower extends a graceful, curling stem, outlined with closely set stones and accented with green Meenakari foliage. Pear-shaped white stones mark the branching ends, introducing contrast and dimension without overwhelming the floral design.
The craftsmanship extends to the back of the brooch, where blue and green Meenakari motifs add another layer of detail. Bringing together Jaipur’s heritage of enamel artistry with a graceful, contemporary silhouette, Gulabi Saba is a thoughtful expression of traditional craftsmanship.
Name Rationale:
Gulabi refers to pink, while Saba is a poetic word for the morning breeze. Together, they evoke the image of a flower gently swaying in the breeze, reflecting the brooch's soft pink petals and flowing, asymmetrical silhouette.
Styling Tip: Pin the Gulabi Saba Brooch to a sage green silk jacket or a champagne-coloured saree blouse, allowing the pink petals to provide a gentle contrast. For a more contemporary look, wear it on the lapel of a cream blazer with pearl studs and minimal accessories.
