Handloom Matte Powder Green Pure Katan Silk Kimkhab Banarasi Saree

The gorgeous Kimkhab crafted Banarasi Katan Saree carrying the powder matter undertones of unadulterated green along with some heavy zari interlacing is a raw angelic masterpiece, brought to you by Weaver Story, in the final courtesy of the North Indian craftsmen, gifted with intricate skills and high caliber. Using the ancient handloom methodology for the weaving of the Katan Silk, where each every filament of the filament is curated by twisting more than two Silk threads together, the Saree is a tribute to the culturally rich heritage of our country and the triumph of man power over modern day technological advancements.

Embellished with broad and detailed Kimkhab zari interlacing spread all over Saree in the form of floral and leafy motifs, the ethnic ensemble is a product of utter dedication and devotion to one's own field of artistry. Suave crusts of the golden brocade work around the edges add a crispy finishing to the dense fabric of the Saree, while also maintaining a sense of traditionality in the ingenious fashion technique. Banarasi Sarees are prominently known for their dexterous hand weaving and Weaver Story’s wide collection proves to be the same.

The Weaving Technique

Kinkhwab is a rich, heavy silk fabric with an intricate pattern woven into it. Khinkwab textiles are largely used for ceremonial textiles and the resultant fabric is like woven gold, The weave produces intricate floral designs that appear embroidered on the surface of the fabric. The gold weave is so prominent that it almost covers the base fabric.
