Handloom Navy Blue Pure Katan Silk Tanchoi Banarasi Saree With Magenta Resham Work
Prominently applauded far and wide for it's uniqueness and intricacy, WeaverStory's zealous pile of Banarasi Katan Silk Sarees introduce another starling masterpiece of hand loomed artistry, crafted with original and unadulterated Silk threads and birthed with extreme dedication and patience by the skillful craftsmen of our nation. Ornamented with a gracious and austere color scheme of Navy blue with Indigo hues, Katan Silk textile is originated by twisting two or more filaments together in order to form a single thread of sheer significance and historical delight. A slight disruption in the process can damage the hard work of around four to seven months and hence, these Sarees are woven while keeping your high status symbol and rich lifestyle in mind.
While the impenetrable silhouettes of Ink and Navy blue provide a sense of divinity to the ingenious vibe of the Saree, the traditional use of Magenta Resham craft weighs down the flimsy nature of tissue fabric which has been used to assemble the border of the alluring attire. To top it off, Tanchoi technique of colorful craft generates a sense of transcendentalism, moving the Saree from a vintage outfit into the realm of utter modernity.

The Weaving Technique
Tanchois are a very fine weave banarasi sarees that use an extra weft thread to create delicate patterns. Tanchoi weaving is one of the complex and technical weaving techniques as it uses one or two warp and two to five weft colors. These sarees are extremely light weight and soft to drape. Jamawar & Tanchois are both satin weave techniques where the motifs are created using the primary weft yarn itself creating an inlaid or embossed look, unlike a brocade, which uses extra warp or weft to create the patterns.
Technically we use the word Jamawar or Jamewar when the motifs feature more than one color, while Tanchois usually have one single color motif or pattern. Jamawars also seem to have a lot of persian influence and are majorly dominated with paisleys in the design pattern
