Mustard Handloom Pure Katan Silk Tanchoi Banarasi Saree With Mustard Resham Work

Flawlessly hand encrusted with the filaments of authentic Banarasi Katan Silk filaments, using the time consuming and skillful technique of weaving Resham brocade motifs of golden Mustard hues, WeaverStory's dexterous masterpiece is a treat for the sore eyes. The paramount color combination of Mustard Yellow walks hand in hand with the brightened feminine persona of the monochromatic mustard highlights, thus, creating an aesthetic aura of a French countryside, embellished with fields of golden corn and velvety flowers. While the expected density of the traditional ensemble is particularly highlighted by the heaviness of the finest quality of Katan Silk, the breezy and airy Tanchoi art work spread impenetrably over the fabric counteracts with it to grant a rather crispy texture to the heavenly Saree.

Exquisitely embellished with the floral motifs of blonde undertones, each and every pattern is assembled intricately to create a diverse web of sophistication and delicacy, while ancient weaving methodology of Katan Silk textile, where each thread is intensively birthed by mixing more than two Silk filaments together, add a sense of traditionality to the ingenuous piece of fashionable innovation.

The Weaving Technique

Tanchois are a very fine weave banarasi sarees that use an extra weft thread to create delicate patterns. Tanchoi weaving is one of the complex and technical weaving techniques as it uses one or two warp and two to five weft colors. These sarees are extremely light weight and soft to drape. Jamawar & Tanchois are both satin weave techniques where the motifs are created using the primary weft yarn itself creating an inlaid or embossed look, unlike a brocade, which uses extra warp or weft to create the patterns.
Technically we use the word Jamawar or Jamewar when the motifs feature more than one color, while Tanchois usually have one single color motif or pattern. Jamawars also seem to have a lot of persian influence and are majorly dominated with paisleys in the design pattern
