Its light, slightly crisp body holds the pleats beautifully, while the fabric’s natural translucence allows the olive and yellow tones to shift subtly across the drape.

The circular motifs are woven using the Kadhwa technique, with each form individually worked into the saree by the karigar. Gold and silver zari come together in the ornamentation, bringing the richness of sona-rupa to an otherwise restrained composition.
