Woven using the Eknaliya weaving technique where a single thread of extra weft, a single ground weft and the extra weft are woven in quick succession to create intricate motifs, this dupatta is sure to lure.

The Design Technique
Jangla is one of oldest and most rich patterns, the Jangla is truly representative of a banarasi. Floral patterns, paisley intertwine in brocade or kadhwa weaving on silk, kora or satin fabric. An interplay of floral jaals cover the saree or dupatta in Kadhwa and Kadhiyal weave with meenakari to create a rich design with or without contrasting borders. The jaal is enhanced with jewelled meenakari. This is one of the oldest and most complex weaving techniques from banaras.
