Bride of WeaverStory: Tejasvi’s Timeless Reception Look

Every once in a while, we come across a couple whose story feels straight out of a film- warm, unexpected, and beautifully serendipitous. Tejasvi Murali and Angad Singh, both from Delhi, are one such couple. Their paths first crossed not in their hometown, but in Perth, Australia, where love quietly found them.

What started as a friendship soon grew into something deeper. Angad, with a sparkle of mischief and love, chose the most meaningful moment to propose- when both their families finally met. The proposal wasn’t just about the two of them; it was about weaving their families into the story too. The room filled with laughter, blessings, and happy tears, marking the beginning of a union that everyone around them cherished instantly.

Choosing the Saree

For her reception in Delhi, Tejasvi knew she wanted something that felt both timeless and unique. While browsing online, she came across WeaverStory, and something about the handloom charm spoke to her heart. Excited, she visited our Delhi store, where she was warmly welcomed.

Muskaan from our team remembers the experience vividly. She patiently draped saree after saree, letting Tejasvi take her time, explore colors, and enjoy the process. There were smiles, laughter, a few “almost there” moments, until finally, the bride-to-be’s eyes lit up.

“Finally, the radiant bride chose her saree, which just about matched her beauty.”

It wasn’t just her choice; it was a family affair. Parents, in-laws, and siblings all agreed that the saree was simply fabulous on her. And when Tejasvi stepped into it on her Reception evening, everyone knew it was the perfect pick.

How did you feel wearing this unconventional color?

“It felt refreshing,” Tejasvi shares with a smile. “I wanted my Reception look to feel distinct, something that wasn’t the usual bridal palette. The saree gave me just that- it was elegant, rich, and yet so modern in spirit. I felt like myself, just elevated.”

The wedding was every bit the dream they had envisioned. “The Reception was a mix of warmth and grandeur. We were surrounded by people we love, and it was less about show and more about celebrating togetherness,” Tejasvi says.

What made it truly magical was how effortless everything felt. Dressed in her WeaverStory saree, hand in hand with Angad, she recalls a moment where she just paused and thought, “This is exactly how I wanted it to be.”

How did you come across WeaverStory?

“Honestly, while scrolling online!” Tejasvi laughs. “I was looking for something classic yet unique, and WeaverStory caught my eye. When I came to the Delhi store, it was such a delightful experience- warm, patient, and personal. It wasn’t just about shopping; it felt like being part of something larger- something rooted in heritage.”

Did you get a chance to wear it again?

Since the couple lives in Australia, the saree has yet to make another appearance. “But I know I will wear it again,” Tejasvi says, “because it’s not just a Reception saree- it’s a memory I’ll always carry with me.”

What’s the best compliment you’ve received?

At the Reception, one guest captured the magic of the evening perfectly:

“I have seen many weddings in my lifetime, but this couple looked just out of this world.”

For Tejasvi, those words weren’t just about her look- it was about the aura of the evening, the joy in the room, and the love she and Angad radiated together.

A Living Legacy

At WeaverStory, every saree is more than just a garment- it’s a canvas of heritage, artistry, and emotion. For Tejasvi, it became the perfect backdrop to one of the most special days of her life.

Their story, which began in Perth, blossomed in Delhi, and continues in Australia, reminds us of what weddings are truly about- love that transcends borders, traditions that bind families, and moments woven into forever.

Here’s to Tejasvi and Angad, a couple who looked “just out of this world,” and to many more milestones in their journey together.
