While exploring her own little fashionable universe, she has tried on thousands of silhouettes, styles, fabrics, patterns, and looks and has slayed each of them impressively. Mrunal isn’t afraid of experimentation and that is one reason why we absolutely adore her. We are beyond delighted to have had the opportunity to collaborate with a celebrity like her. Let’s give you a glimpse of her eye-catching  WeaverStory look.

Since we know that she is someone who does not step back from experimenting with different looks and styles, we, in collaboration with the famed stylist Manisha Melwani, decided to doll her up in one of our most amazing creations from the Angoor Jaal collection. The  Red  handloom saree she wore is a pure katan silk saree meticulously designed and crafted with utmost attention to detail. It is an extraordinarily appealing drape that looks arresting to the eyes and can serve as an heirloom archive for the future.

The ravishing Red Banarasi Saree has been brilliantly crafted by hand by the ingenious artisans of Banaras. It took days of painstaking efforts by our artisans to create an astounding artwork like this. They crafted every single thread of the katan Banarasi weave carefully, one by one, to make the Banarasi Saree appealing to the eyes as well as comfortable and highly durable for long-term use. The red expanse of the drape has been lavishly decorated with intricately crafted Angoor Jaal patterns scattered throughout. The  jalangoora is made with delicate sona (gold) and rupa (silver) zari threads, which add a peculiar touch of royalty to the pure silk saree. This convoluted, extraordinary weave has been thoughtfully made employing the age-old Kadhwa weaving technique.

To give her traditional look a modern spin, she added a custom-made pink paisley brocade single-breasted blazer. This alluring hot pink blazer features intricate paisley motifs and floral jaal crafted using orange threads and gold zari that perfectly match the saree’s extraordinary aesthetic appeal. To add the "extra" to the saree’s "extraordinary" visual appeal, the look is completed with three-strand braid, further adorned with two hot pink satin scrunchies and gold strings wrapped along the length. Her gold bali is paired with three chains attached to her hair, which give her an imperial Baahubali earrings kind of look. For the makeup, the look was kept simple, with gold highlights and pink lips that complemented the saree’s traditional looks.

Did you love the look just as much as we loved getting to drape this phenomenal woman in one of our most coveted drapes? Let’s get you a similar look so that you can look as drop-dead gorgeous as Mrunal Thakur for the next special occasion on your calendar.
