Srinidhi Shetty X WeaverStory

It is no news that Srinidhi is highly admired for her unique sartorial choices and impeccable fashion sense. From designer lehengas to exquisitely crafted handloom sarees, she looks beautiful in any attire she is dressed up in. Evidence of this lies in her recent cover shoot for Khush Magazine, where she was seen donning WeaverStory’s resplendent Banarasi sarees, lehengas, and dupattas. Read on for a breakdown of her looks.

The Shikargah Masterpiece

In the initial shots of the campaign video, she is seen draped in the elegance of an alluring rose-pink Banarasi Shikargah saree. This is a pure Katan silk saree that is luxuriously decorated with intricate floral vines made using delicate silver zari threads. The jungle scenes woven throughout the body are the signature of the Shikargah design and are carefully handwoven by master artisans in Banaras. The K.G.F actress wore a red full-sleeved blouse along with gold jewellery to complete her look. The enchanting emeralds perfectly complement the distinguished appeal of the drape, while her subtle makeup adds to its elegance.

An Embroidered Work of Art

In the second look, Srinidhi is wearing an exquisitely handcrafted magenta Banarasi lehenga. Hand embroidered on a bed of lush pure Katan silk are zardozi floral vines and elephants that complement her royal appearance. She paired the lehenga with a solid magenta blouse and a hand-embroidered Organza dupatta. The look is completed with magnificent temple jewellery, which adds to the allure.

A Contemporary Twist

For her third look, Srinidhi was dressed in an elegant Magenta handloom georgette lehenga paired with a Banarasi Kimkhab blazer in pure Katan Silk. The intricate zari detailing and the floral buttons on the blazer complement her Chikankari kalidar lehenga’s alluring appeal, which is adorned with white floral bootis all over. Her look was elevated with gold-plated layered necklaces and a statement matha tikka. Her subtle nude makeup, open hair, and the elegance of her bindi make her look extraordinarily beautiful.

The Epitome of Elegance

Draping her curves with elegance, the next look sees Srinidhi in a beautiful handloom Kanjivaram silk saree. The magenta and green pure katan silk saree is adorned with the signature Mayil (the peacock) and Yaali (the defender) motifs of a Kanijavaram saree. It also features an exquisite dual border decorated with gold elephants and other traditional designs of Kanchipuram. The heavy choker necklace, long dangling earrings, and gold bangles add to her royalty.

The Ada of Aada

In this look, Srinidhi is seen donning a magenta Katan silk drape that has been brilliantly handcrafted by master artisans in Banaras. The Banarasi Baluchari saree features mustard and silver aada jangla designs through the body of the saree, while the pallu is lavishly decorated with Shikargah patterns and large floral bootas. The multi-coloured statement necklace set, along with her pearl matha patti, make her look breathtaking.

The Imperial Handicraft

Srinidhi herself has a queen-like aura, and her unique appearance is accentuated by this imperial magenta katan silk Banarasi drape. An intricately embroidered floral zardozi border and gold zari rudraksha motifs, make this Kimkhab saree a treasured heirloom. Her elegance is enhanced with statement jewellery and a subtle choice of makeup. The heavily embellished pink zari dupatta makes the ensemble look as if it was pulled straight out of the closets of queens from yesteryear.
