Since lehengas are our go to for weddings, we all have a certain picture in our mind of our Dream wedding lehenga. Out of everything, traditional banarasi lehenga is the most preferred one. Here’s what WeaverStory brides have to say about our classic collection of banarasi lehengas.

WeaverStory Bride - Aarushi Bansal

The bride always wanted her lehenga to be versatile yet classic. She, being so traditional, did not want to go for conventional shades of red for her special day but wanted it to be the brightest. She chose WeaverStory’s hot pink banarasi lehenga to celebrate her Indian roots.

Wherever she went to find her wedding lehenga, she couldn’t find what she had always wanted. When she had only two weeks left, she visited WeaverStory and it was love at first sight when she saw her banarasi bridal lehenga.

Pink Banarasi Lehengas

WeaverStory Bride - Mannat

First thing that helped us provide the best for her was she knew what she wanted. She knew exactly what she was looking for and how she wanted to look. The bride specifically wanted banarasi silk for her wedding. She opted for a red banarasi lehenga which was embellished with ornate zari and meenakari work.

To compliment her look, she went with a double dupatta look. One dupatta with adha jaal motifs pleated on her shoulder. The other one was organza dupatta with zardozi work on her head. She finished her look with minimalistic jewellery and gold kalire looking absolutely regal.  She aced the look with her subtle smile & breathtaking outfit.

Deep Red Handloom Banarasi Lehenga with Meenakari

WeaverStory Bride - Utharaa

The bride never had a pre-decided colour in her mind. So, she kept trying different colours and weaves. All of a sudden, the groom spotted a bold red banarasi lehenga on one of the shelves of WeaverStory.

It was the simplest lehenga that Utharaa tried and it instantly felt right. The lehenga was almost entirely plain red with a solid gold weave along the bottom. Bride’s lehenga was totally a dreamy affair that went perfectly well with the groom's white kerala Mundu.

2. Season of Meenakari -

Detail matters but detailing like meenakari matters even more when done on a brightly colored banarasi saree. You can never go wrong with the shades of purple for your wedding day. Brighter the color of your saree, lighter is the mood.
